Currently, in order to verify your address in Ghana, bank employees may be sent directly to your address for a physical check. Considering the size of the country and the ineffiency involved, SourceID gives banks and customers a way to confirm addresses through a multi-step process.
I was involved in both the evolution of the brand and the conceptual prototyping of the product.
The project was split into two parts:
A mobile user facing app - containing the means to create an account, verify yourself through biometrics, document upload, geotagging, employer information and more.
A backend dashboard for banks - allowing employees to quickly check on the status of users in the system, such as their documents or details, and verify their status.
Creating a variety of components and illustrations, I wanted to bring a sleek and simple look to the project.
The logotype is simple, no nonsense - and the general interface style uses subtle borders and bright colors to draw users' attention to key elements.
Verifying yourself shouldn't be complicated, and neither should its visual style.
SourceID is currently in partnership with one bank, and hoping to collaborate across Africa to launch their product.
